Overview

The Senior Systems Administrator role ensures the smooth and secure operation of computer systems across physical and virtual environments. This technical leadership position includes collaboration, compliance, and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• System Management: Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical/virtual servers, storage arrays, and endpoints.
• Security & Compliance: Manage user identity (on-prem and cloud), group policy management, vulnerability remediation, and adherence to applicable policies (e.g., BSA/AML/CFT/Sanctions).
• Project Support: Act as technical lead and collaborate with teams to meet business objectives.
• Backup & Recovery: Monitor and implement data protection strategies.
• Change Management: Document and obtain approval for system changes.
• On-Call Duty: Participate in a rotating emergency support schedule.
• Education & Experience: Associate degree or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
• Certifications: Not mandatory but expected to obtain certifications (Azure, MCSA/MCSE, VMware, etc.) within a year.
• Technical Skills:
