The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, programmatic support, process development, and knowledge management, with extensive experience supporting sustainment and life‑cycle management of complex systems. This role will directly contribute to the successful transition of Mission Modules (MMs) to Full Operational Capability (FOC) and will require collaboration across engineering, logistics, and support organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct technical and engineering support to the MPSF System Engineer, including participation in technical reviews, meetings, and program-level working groups.
  • Support MPSF Leadership and System Engineer with analytical and programmatic tasks, including Technical Readiness Reviews, Mission Readiness Reviews, Program Management Councils, and other forums.
  • Address technical and engineering issues impacting MM sustainment efforts and prepare written reports on issues affecting MPSF's transition to FOC.

  • Develop and maintain content for MPSF/MMRC spaces on NAVSEA wiki (Atlassian Confluence), Flankspeed Teams, SharePoint Online, and related products, including pages, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Perform Wiki Site Administration duties: manage permissions and templates, conduct user training, collaborate with department site administrators, and share best practices.
  • Lead data collection, analysis, and coordination from engineering, logistics, and support organizations.
  • Develop and maintain the MPSF Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Perform other tasks deemed appropriate for this role as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in systems engineering, sustainment, and life-cycle support of complex systems, preferably within DoD or Navy environments.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience supporting technical reviews, readiness reviews, and program management councils.
  • Proven ability to develop and update processes, SOPs, training standards, and infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience with knowledge management platforms (Atlassian Confluence, SharePoint, Teams) and site administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and coordinate data from multiple organizations.
  • Experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and user training.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
