Job summary

Xeris Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Chicago invites an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support core IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and endpoint management.

You will own Entra ID/SSO, manage Intune/Autopilot provisioning, configure enterprise apps, secure Windows servers, and drive risk assessments while delivering reliable, compliant systems in a regulated biopharma environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum three years of hands-on enterprise IT infrastructure support.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Deep understanding of identity and access management and SSO.

Responsibilities

• Own and advance identity platforms including Entra ID and hybrid identity.
• Design and manage Intune/Autopilot provisioning and endpoint deployment.
• Configure enterprise apps with SAML SSO and SCIM provisioning.
• Monitor, patch, and tune Windows servers; enforce security best practices.
• Lead or contribute to complex projects with cross-functional teams.
