Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to own how technology works across our 26 locations—the infrastructure, the store technology, and the service model that keeps 2,000 people working.

You will lead domain standards, architecture decisions, and modernization efforts, mentoring engineers and delivering production-ready solutions with security and reliability at the forefront.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, or systems administration with domain ownership.
• Deep Windows Server and directory services: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, certificates.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for a domain of the infrastructure estate.
• Own the service and field coverage model across 26 locations.
• Own the store technology lifecycle and deployment.
• Own reliability and incident response within your domain.
• Define production-ready standards and ensure adherence.
• Lead modernization projects (virtualization, identity, endpoints, store tech).
• Automate at environment level (infrastructure-as-code).
• Mentor junior engineers and document work for continuity.
