Avalanche Energy is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer to join our PMO and Systems Engineering team. This hands-on, individual-contributor role focuses on systems engineering and technical program integration across our fusion development programs.

You will work with plasma physicists and engineers to convert scientific objectives into executable work, moving between system-level thinking and detailed execution as needed.

Competenze

• 5+ years of systems engineering in hardware or technology development.
• Experience applying core systems engineering practices: requirements, interfaces, architecture, verification, validation, risk management.
• Experience integrating across multiple disciplines and resolving dependencies, interfaces, and tradeoffs.
• Track record turning evolving technical problems into structured requirements and executable work.
• Experience producing systems engineering deliverables at system and detail levels.

Mansioni

• Lead systems engineering and technical integration for Orbitron and FusionWERX programs.
• Translate needs into system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and plans across hardware, diagnostics, controls, HV, and test infra.
• Coordinate across disciplines, drive technical reviews, trade studies, and interface resolution.
• Define operations and integration for FusionWERX facility, including interfaces and scope.
• Turn evolving needs into executable facility designs and roadmaps.
