Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer in the United States to lead a small systems team and define architecture, roadmap, and operational standards for enterprise infrastructure. The role blends hands-on engineering with strategic planning across Windows Server, Entra ID, VMware, storage, backup, and automation.

You will partner with cybersecurity and other teams, drive documentation, monitoring, and runbooks, and contribute to budgeting and long-term technology planning while balancing

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise systems engineering or admin.
• 2+ years supervising or leading a systems team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; related certifications are a plus.
• Proven production experience with Pure Storage, Isilon/PowerScale, Cohesity.
• Strong Windows Server, AD, M365, VMware, storage, backup skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small team of systems admins and engineers with coaching and on-call coordination.
• Engineer and operate Windows Server environments, AD/Entra ID, and Exchange Online.
• Operate VMware vSphere/vCenter on Cisco UCS-X and optimize performance.
• Manage enterprise storage platforms and Cohesity backup environments.
• Develop runbooks, diagrams, and monitoring dashboards for reliability.
