Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to guide a group replacing an old system with a modern messaging solution in Reston, VA. You will provide technical direction and manage software trends across the project, coordinating with senior customers to deliver innovative solutions.

Key requirements include an active TS/SCI with Poly, a BS with extensive related experience or an MS with 10+ years, plus strong Java/Python/JavaScript/C+/C# skills and Agile experience.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Poly; active clearance preferred.
• BS degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or MS with 10+ years; Doctorate possible.
• Strong communication skills and systems analysis knowledge.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or C# and full life-cycle software development.
• Hands-on with Agile processes and enterprise system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems requirements analysis, interface definition, and documentation.
• Serve as primary focal point for several enterprise systems and interact with senior customers.
• Provide technical direction, guidance and risk mitigation across the project.
