Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer on a contingency basis to administer, maintain, and support enterprise systems in a secure DoD environment. The role emphasizes system implementation, troubleshooting, upgrades, and lifecycle support to meet government security requirements.

The position requires active DoD Top Secret clearance and a minimum of three years of hands-on experience. On-site work in Washington, DC is expected with potential for additional compensation per policy.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of direct hands-on experience administering, maintaining, or supporting the specific systems for which the individual is responsible.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, configuring, maintaining, and sustaining enterprise systems in a secure environment.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government or Department of Defense (DoD) systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain assigned enterprise systems.
  • Perform system configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
  • Resolve technical issues and support end users as required.
  • Ensure compliance with Government security policies and procedures.
  • Maintain technical documentation and system configuration records.
  • Support system testing, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
