Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Systems Engineer in the Washington Navy Yard to provide technical and programmatic engineering support to high-stakes national security programs.

The role focuses on the TRIDENT II missile program, including avionics software, survivability, and batteries, with emphasis on coordinating with government and prime contractor stakeholders. Candidates must be a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years professional engineering experience.
• U.S. citizen with DoD TOP SECRET clearance, or a SECRET clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS.
• Ability to work full-time at the Washington Navy Yard.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and programmatic engineering support to the TRIDENT II missile program within SSP.
• Support the government team within Missile Branch responsible for the Tactical Avionics program, including avionics software, survivability, and batteries.
• Assist with development of integrated program schedules, risk and opportunities management, and coordination with government and prime contractor stakeholders.
• Review technical documentation and assist with walkups to attend milestone reviews.
