Job summary

Intrepid Solutions and Services LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the US Army TENCAP program in Alexandria, VA. The role covers full lifecycle systems engineering, from requirements and design through verification, validation, and risk management, with a clear focus on DOD/IC intelligence systems.

Candidates should have 10+ years of related experience, familiarity with the V-model, and be able to lead technical teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively complex experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of DOD or IC intelligence systems.
• 8+ years of experience in a systems engineering position working on DOD programs / projects.
• 5+ years of experience in a systems engineering management position leading a technical team working on DOD or IC programs / projects.
• Familiar with system engineering V-model, requirements development, management and traceability, design, development, integration, validation, and verification.
• Experience with review process (SRR, PDR, CDR) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Systems Engineering processes including: Prepare decision justification materials; Prepare design studies to identify and address program / project capability gaps; Prepare analysis of alternatives and recommendations for decision; Prepare study results for presentation to leadership; Develop and manage requirement baselines; Address configuration and change management; Prepare, present, and evaluate technical reviews; Execute risk, issue, and opportunity management; Coordinate with test and evaluation staff for execution of requirements verification and validation; Provide technical input to SAMPs addressing the program’s acquisition approach including SE and risk management.
