Job summary

We are GDIT, seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to advance DoD IT capabilities at Fort Huachuca. You will design, develop, integrate, and support secure NIPRNET/SIPRNET/DF portions of the DoDIN, ensuring IL/CM, documentation, and reliability across environments.

Role requires 5+ years of related experience and DoD 8570-M IAT III certification, with Secret clearance to start and TS/SCI capability. Onsite work only; strong Linux (RHEL), STIGs, and VMware ESXi expertise needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of related experience in systems engineering.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT III certification requirement (CASP/SecurityX, CISSP, CISA) and computing environment certification.
• Security clearance: Secret to begin work with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.
• All work is onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support securing configurations across enterprise IT environments.
• Maintain and audit configuration management records for integrity.
• Coordinate and maintain system documentation for enterprise systems.
• Provide guidance to administrators on configurations and operational practices.
• Assist operational teams with changes, compliance efforts, and troubleshooting.
• Identify, control, and verify CIs, versions, baselines, and relationships.
• Plan and manage design, build, and deployment of enterprise systems across testing, production, and multi-network environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and outcomes.
