Job description

Senior Systems Engineer – Digital Workplace Collaboration (HK$55,000 to HK$60,000 per month) (Ref. No.: 25997)

Our client is a Public Utility Company, and they are urgently looking for an IT professional with knowledge in Digital Workplace Collaboration Solution.

Job Duties

  1. Act as one of the technical team members of the Digital Workplace Team to support collaboration management.
  2. Responsible for maintaining and supporting Microsoft 365 services, Collaboration Services Management (such as MS Teams), Meeting Room Solution, and Infrastructure Management.
  3. Manage and deliver related projects while meeting users’ requirements in good quality and on schedule.
  4. Provide 2nd line technical support and troubleshooting, including resolving incident tickets and handling service requests.
  5. Lead root cause analysis and problem investigation, work with technical partners or vendors on critical issues, and monitor the progress and resolution.
  6. Prepare change plans, conduct impact analysis and testing, execute change requests, and work closely with other technical teams until completion.
  7. Provide ongoing training and skill transfer to IT Helpdesk and related support teams to resolve 1st line issues.
  8. Work closely with external service providers and internal teams, such as the Application team, Infrastructure, and Network teams, to support the services.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree or diploma in Computer Science / Information Systems / Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 8 years of experience in IT or system support, of which at least 2 years of experience in the following areas:
    • Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online maintenance and administration.
    • Meeting solutions maintenance and administration, like Cisco Webex, BlueJeans, Zoom, and Teams.
    • Scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, PowerAutomate, etc.
    • Microsoft 365 usage reports and PowerBI development.
    • Integrating Microsoft 365 with third-party applications using Visual Studio.Net, JavaScript, Microsoft Graph API, Teams Apps Template, etc.
  3. Self-motivated, able to work independently, possess good problem-solving skills, and have an enthusiastic personality.
  4. Good interpersonal and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
