Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Senior Associate, Systems Engineer in Carlsbad, CA to advance the MIDS‑JTRS and NGTDL product lines. You will support design, development, testing, and integration of our systems onto customer platforms, and sustainment across the lifecycle.

The role involves leading demonstrations, platform integration on aircraft and ISR systems, and close collaboration with customers to ensure successful STT integration, with a focus on RF systems and documentation. Requires a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years prior systems engineering experience, or Graduate Degree/equivalent with 0–2 years of prior systems engineering experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related systems engineering experience.
• Active US Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

• Lead and Innovate: Support high-impact demonstrations at trade shows and customer sites, showcasing MIDS‑JTRS and NGTDL products.
• Platform Integration: Integrate MIDS‑JTRS and NGTDL products onto platforms including aircraft, ground vehicles, and ISR systems.
• Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to ensure successful integration of STT into their systems and provide expert technical support.
• Development and Testing: Conduct internal development and rigorous testing of MIDS‑JTRS and NGTDL software applications.
• Business Development: Maintain equipment inventory and support product line growth.
• Production and Depot Support: Provide technical support for production and maintenance, repair, and operations.
• Product Support/Lead: Address product inquiries and update ICDs and O&M documents.
• Travel required: 10%
