Job summary

As a Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) SEIT Engineer in Heath, OH, you will contribute to design, development, integration and test of guidance, navigation and control systems for advanced defense platforms. You will work across electrical, mechanical and software teams to ensure performance and reliability while supporting system lifecycle tasks from deployment to disposal.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field or non-US equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience in requirements development, verification, validation, risk, issues and opportunities management.
• Experience with Systems Thinking.
• Willing to relocate to Heath, OH at own expense.

Responsibilities

• Use Systems Thinking to understand inter-relationships of system elements and plans.
• Interpret, analyze, and develop engineering data to support requirements.
• Communicate with electrical, mechanical, and systems teams to evaluate information.
• Support troubleshooting, fault isolation, and redesign for end items.
• Apply inertial guidance navigation and control knowledge to sustain systems.
• Support product lifecycle including manufacturing, deployment, aging and disposal.
• Oversee engineering change of electronics and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Perform analyses across mechanical, electrical, avionics, design and structural domains.
• Identify customer organization capabilities and constraints to provide effective support.
• Analyze systems using modeling, DOE, and operations research.
