Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, Florida seeks a Level 3 Systems Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering mission-critical system solutions. You will develop and manage system-level requirements and ensure traceability across the lifecycle using DOORS, supporting TPMs and verification activities.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field with 4+ years of experience or a master’s/PhD with 2+ years of experience, with RF/SATCOM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline with a minimum of 4 years of experience OR graduate degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Experience applying systems engineering principles across the development lifecycle.
• Experience preparing for and supporting design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and TIMs.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage system and subsystem requirements specifications using DOORS.
• Decompose delta requirements and maintain traceability across customer, system, and verification artifacts.
• Support TPM deliveries and related systems engineering products.
• Prepare content for design reviews and technical interchange meetings.
• Create and maintain verification matrices and support verification/validation activities.
• Collaborate across engineering, program management, customers, and suppliers to resolve issues.
