NTT DATA, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineering Specialist to join our Newport News, VA team. The role focuses on compliance with DoD regulations, cyber risk identification, and strengthening cybersecurity within a DOD environment.

Daily onsite presence in Newport News, VA is required, with support in a hybrid agile setting. The candidate will lead infrastructure projects, ensure FISMA and STIG compliance, and collaborate across stakeholders while delivering full solutions after proper approvals.

Competenze

6+ years of experience including planning, deploying and hardening enterprise services.
IAT II or higher certification.
Active Secret Security Clearance.

Mansioni

Serve as the technical leader for system infrastructure projects to plan, deploy, and harden Enterprise Services.
Ensure system compliance with FISMA regulations, DISA STIGs, and Vulnerability Management Programs.
Provide expert knowledge for all aspects of system and network configuration and management.
Participate in hybrid-agile project planning, potentially as Scrum Master.
Analyze IT environment to detect deficiencies and recommend improvements.
Coordinate with IT team members and stakeholders to complete projects on time and within budget.
Perform routine system maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
Document system configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain knowledge base.
Provide mentorship to team members in system engineering and management.
