Job summary

cb20, Inc in New York state seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support post-sales service and servicing of connectivity and high-end systems products, including installation, service, and problem resolution.

You will coordinate with cb20’s departments and clients, participate in pre-sales activities, lead technical efforts, and pursue certs; occasional after-hours work and daily travel are required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of related system engineering experience.
• Proven proficiency in all supported products and the ability to resolve problems of the highest complexity.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Office 365, Azure, Microsoft servers and networks, SANs, switching, firewalling, and wireless.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and support of advanced systems solutions.
• Participate in the design and scheduling of advance systems solutions.
• Provide high level technical assistance to internal and external clients.
• Provide training or technical advice to customers and other personnel as needed.
• Influence customer satisfaction through meeting expectations and effective problem resolution.
• Plan and direct own activities with minimal supervision.
• Maintain technical competence by staying current with technology developments.
• Assist with development of MS cloud offerings and professional services agreements.
• Provide guidance and leadership to cb20’s Customer Support Center.
• Progress certification through courses; cb20 pays for materials and testing.
