Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to build, scale, and secure enterprise infrastructure across Windows, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments. You will leverage Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and software-defined storage to deliver scalable, automated, monitored, and well-documented systems.

You will apply knowledge from large-scale production environments to resolve enterprise customer issues and participate in incident root-cause

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Experience supporting multi-region configuration management.
• Experience building services, PaaS, internal clouds, and integrating APIs for automation.
• Chef experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and secure enterprise infrastructure across Windows, Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments.
• Apply Infra-as-Code, container orchestration, and software-defined storage.
• Implement scalable, automated, monitored, and well-documented systems; provide training for operational tasks.
• Apply knowledge from large-scale production environments to solve enterprise customer issues.
• Participate in incident root-cause analysis across compute, storage, and network layers, implementing reliable solutions.
