Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the TAGM Project Office at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. You will help develop, qualify, and sustain advanced munitions systems for the Navy, Air Force, and Army, ensuring cross-service coordination and program success.

Key duties include APKWS-related engineering, load/assembly/pack operations at depots, and maintaining safety and documentation for new variants across services.

Qualifications

• Proximity fuzes, APKWS operations, and/or munitions systems experience.
• Hands-on load, assembly, and pack processes at military depots or similar facilities.
• Proven ability to manage cross-service interactions with U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Army stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for proximity fuze efforts and APKWS-related engineering and supply challenges.
• Collaborate with Navy, Air Force to ensure cross-service compatibility on APKWS developments.
• Support Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) for APKWS and coordinate with Tri-Service initiatives.
• Engage with safety organizations to produce required documentation for shipping, storage, and release processes.
• Manage APKWS load, assembly, and pack operations with depots.
