Job summary

Arcfield seeks a systems engineer to conduct technical planning, analysis, and integration for large, complex defense systems in the United States. You will create, modify, and run simulations to evaluate performance, and interpret results for customers with recommended actions.

Proficiency in Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R is expected, along with strong written and oral communication. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to perform this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• BS 5-7 Years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, systems), physics, mathematics, computer science, data science or similar technical discipline.
• High degree of computer literacy with ability to rapidly learn complex applications and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analyses for total systems.
• Ensure conversion of requirements into total system solutions acknowledging technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications and interfaces.
