Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an engineer who can own end‑to‑end system health for AI/ML accelerator fleets. You will build automation, diagnostics, and predictive intelligence to minimize downtime across GPU servers in AWS data centers.

You will work across PCIe, GPUs, Linux drivers, and telemetry pipelines, designing tests and dashboards that help prevent customer impact. A strong background in software engineering for large, cloud‑scale systems and clear communication across

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 2+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and own automation infrastructure for accelerator fleet health at scale, driving toward zero‑touch operations.
• Design test frameworks, coverage strategies, and diagnostic tooling to validate hardware and detect faults.
• Develop predictive failure detection using telemetry, sensor data, and logs to identify degrading components before customer impact.
• Create monitoring dashboards and alerts for real‑time fleet health visibility across environments.
• Define and track fleet health metrics such as failure rates, MTTD, MTTR, and first‑time fix rate.
• Debug complex system‑level issues across compute, GPU, and networking in production.
• Perform root cause analysis and feed findings into design improvements.
• Design scalable test automation for hardware bring‑up and qualification.
• Build data pipelines correlating test results and telemetry to identify systemic yield issues.
• Develop and maintain Linux device drivers on ARM and x86.
