Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Huntsville, AL or Colorado Springs, CO. You will design secure API integrations, advance MBSE with SysML, and build AI-enabled digital ecosystems to support DoD missions.

Responsibilities include leading integration of external software, dashboards, and AI tools, while ensuring cloud-native deployments and DevSecOps practices. Active Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• MS in a STEM field with 12+ years of related experience.
• Experience with API design and integration.
• Experience with MBSE and SysML.
• Experience building enterprise dashboards.
• Experience with cloud environments and container technologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of operational capabilities using API integration and cloud architecture.
• Lead onboarding and integration of external software, models, simulations, and AI tools.
• Design secure API-based integrations and data exchange architectures.
• Develop AI-ready data pipelines transforming data into knowledge assets.
• Integrate LLMs, agentic AI frameworks, and workflow automation into enterprise environments.
• Develop enterprise dashboards and common operational pictures.
• Support MBSE activities with SysML diagrams.
• Develop common data models and integration standards.
• Support tactical interoperability including Link 16 and gateway architectures.
• Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
• Provide technical recommendations to government leadership.
