SAIC is seeking a well-rounded Systems Engineer Senior to lead a team of EEs, MEs, programmers and other project personnel to deliver concepts and products related to aircraft and other military systems. The candidate will directly support Government program(s) as a systems engineer and/or project lead throughout the entire program lifecycle. The candidate will support all aspects of design to include, but not limited to, design, development, documentation, test and debug of embedded systems and other hardware and software systems. Candidate will be expected to perform engineering investigations, integrate hardware/software components, and is expected to possess excellent communication skills to interface to multi-disciplinary design team. Candidate will also perform detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software or engineering specifications. Candidate will also perform fault analysis and will author analyses to document system compliance with customer requirements. As part of daily duties, candidate ensures the effective team implementation of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
