Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead design, deployment, and maintenance of our hybrid data center infrastructure. You will ensure high availability and performance across on-prem and cloud environments, with Linux and Windows administration, backup strategies, and cost-effectiveStorage optimization.

The role requires hands-on expertise in virtualization, cloud platforms, and scripting, and offers a fast-paced, high-growth environment with on-call responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency in both Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
• Experience with data center design, build-out, and operations.
• Strong knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, Dell EMC, Ceph).
• Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and integration with infrastructure systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of data center infrastructure components.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient systems in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud).

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of our data center infrastructure. This position is critical to supporting our mission-critical systems and ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance across both on-premise and cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in both Windows and Linux environments, extensive experience with monitoring and disaster recovery solutions, and a strong foundation in virtualization, cloud services, storage, and preferably high-performance computing (HPC). This role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Physical Demands:
