Epic Games is seeking a Senior Systems Designer, Progression to tackle high-level engagement challenges across the Fortnite ecosystem. You will innovate existing systems like Quests and Passes and create new structures to guide player experience across the platform.

You will drive vision across cross-disciplinary teams, collaborating with product management and marketing to ensure player satisfaction and overall game health, while leading live design iterations and rapid prototyping.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience shipping multiple titles as a game designer in live-service multiplayer.
• Deep understanding of player motivations, forms of play, and effects of goal setting on play.
• Strong interest in BR and the Fortnite ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Craft high-level progression and quest systems for Fortnite.
• Drive design across cross-disciplinary teams to engage players.
• Communicate a vision for the player's experience to multiple teams across the company.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to ensure player satisfaction and game health.
• Lead iterative live design and rapid prototyping to test and refine engagement systems.
