Job summary

Valeo in Troy, MI is seeking a Discipline Design Leader – Systems Design to provide technical engineering leadership during the design and delivery of ADAS ECU systems, using camera and ultrasonic sensors, and to ensure ASPICE-compliant, high-quality solutions. This role integrates cross-functional teams across the full automotive lifecycle.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with 3 years in automotive engineering and 1 year ADAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 3+ years in Automotive Engineering, development, validation and launches of ADAS sensors.
• 1 year ADAS experience using CAN and diagnostic tools; familiar with DOORS/CodeBeamer/JIRA/Jama.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership during design and delivery of ADAS ECU systems.
• Coordinate resources and assign work packages to multifunctional teams.
• Ensure designs meet ASPICE, quality, and software standards throughout the OEM lifecycle.
