Qualifications

• Minimum years: eight with BS/BA; six with MS/MA; three with PhD; ten with AS; twelve years in lieu of degree.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a public trust clearance.
• Experience with systems engineering processes.
• Experience applying MBSE principles.
• Ability to perform engineering trade studies and technical evaluations.
• Experience providing technical leadership within engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to support working groups and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct large-scale radio network planning, including site surveys, configurations, racks and cable routings.
• Create site installation engineering packages (drawings, BOM, steps, schematics) for deployments.
• Develop system design packages supporting site preparation, procurement and installation.
• Support development of site engineering packages for radio equipment installations.
• Perform requirements definition and system decomposition.
• Utilize MBSE methodologies to model and document the system.
• Conduct trade-off analyses to optimize engineering decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams.
• Facilitate design reviews and cross-functional discussions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with field engineering, deployment teams, and program leadership to align with operations.
• Ensure designs comply with program standards and technical requirements.
