Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a Systems Design Engineer in New Jersey to drive scalable, automated validation solutions for next-gen SOCs. You will contribute to product development, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of validation methodologies.

You will leverage scripting in Python/Perl/Ruby, work with lab equipment, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely feature validation and high-quality silicon bring-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical or computer engineering is required.
• Experience debugging at board/platform level and optimizing validation strategies.
• Programming/scripting skills (e.g. Perl, Ruby, Python) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical innovation to improve validation across tool and script development.
• Debug issues during bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
• Coordinate across teams to ensure features are validated and optimized on schedule.
• Collaborate with supporting technical teams and engage in software/hardware modeling frameworks.
