Job summary

T-Mobile USA, Inc. in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Sr Engineer, Systems Design to own a greenfield hardware program at the center of the T-Fiber initiative.

You will be the connective tissue across engineering, operations, and partners, influencing strategy and delivering customer-facing home broadband at scale. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field.
• 5 years in engineering, product management, and/or technical troubleshooting within telecommunications or consumer broadband.
• Experience owning operational deliverables and driving large-scale hardware launches.

Responsibilities

• Be the leader for technical business operations end‑to‑end hardware/technology and service launches across all T‑Fiber workstreams.
• Build and drive the master hardware and technology program schedule, lead decision forums, manage escalations, and coordinate market launch.
• Coordinate with Fiber partners and internal teams to ensure timely, on-budget deliveries and outstanding customer experience.
• Represent T‑Fiber at VP/SVP levels with clear strategy, status, and risk communication.
• Collaborate with engineering architecture to evaluate platform tradeoffs and roadmaps (Wi‑Fi 8, embedded AI, RedCap, XGS‑PON, and RDK).
