Job summary

FOX News Channel is seeking a Senior Systems Design Engineer to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of broadcast infrastructure projects. You will lead complex, end-to-end installations, upgrades, and migrations in control rooms, studios, and technical spaces, coordinating multiple teams and vendors.

The role requires at least 3 years in broadcast/AV systems integration, PMP certification, and strong IT/broadcast infrastructure knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects, with at least 3 years specifically focused on broadcast, A/V, or media technology systems integration.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification.
• Strong understanding of core broadcast and IT infrastructure concepts (e.g., routing, signal flow, networking, storage).
• Exceptional verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with IP-based broadcast solutions (SMPTE 2110, NDI, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud media workflows (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and identify/mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including specifications, change orders, status reports, and final handover documentation.
• Possess a working knowledge of modern broadcast technologies (e.g., IP video/SMPTE 2110, cloud-based systems, baseband infrastructure, asset management).

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
