Job summary

Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a senior-grade Systems Design SME to lead the development of advanced DoD-grade systems and architectures. The role focuses on designing complex frameworks, ensuring interoperability, and guiding integration across multiple platforms.

You will provide technical leadership, oversee design reviews, and mentor junior staff while aligning system development with modernization initiatives and DoD standards.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in systems design or related technical discipline.
• Proven design architecture and cross-platform integration experience.
• Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, standards, and compliance.
• Certifications such as INCOSE CSEP/ESEP or DoDAF are preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine complex system architectures to support mission requirements.
• Lead integration efforts across platforms to ensure interoperability.
• Provide technical leadership in system design and optimization.
• Oversee design reviews ensuring quality and compliance.
