Job summary

Honda Logistics North America (HLNA) seeks a senior IT professional to lead system analysis and modernization across enterprise applications. You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable IBM i-based solutions, with strong focus on data integration, REST/SOAP services, and cross-functional collaboration across Agile teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in IT, deep RPG/CL/SQL experience, and a track record of digital transformation in logistics or manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent IT experience.
• 10+ years progressive IT experience in systems analysis and development.
• Proven leadership in design, architecture, integration, and digital transformation.
• 10+ years with RPG/RPGLE/CL and IBM i environments.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and JSON.
• Experience in data integration across enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead system analysis and solution design for new applications and enhancements.
• Drive modernization and continuous improvement across enterprise platforms.
• Develop, test, and debug programs and modify existing ones per specs.
• Design data integration frameworks between systems and ensure timely delivery.
• Create technical docs, user manuals, and system documentation.
• Provide production support and guide end-to-end system integration testing.
• Collaborate with Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver scalable tech solutions.
