TekSynap seeks a Senior Systems Architect, VDI (Citrix) to support the DLA EIA and JETS 2.0 program at Fort Belvoir, VA. This role leads Citrix VDI architecture, planning, and project management across multi-site environments, including OCONUS considerations and Zero Trust coordination.

Candidates must have extensive VDI and government contract experience, be prepared to sign a commitment letter, and be ready to start December 1, 2026 if awarded.

Qualificações

• Manage VDI project schedules, risks and status reporting to the Government.
• Maintain STIG compliance, RMF documentation and architecture diagrams for VDI.
• Coordinate VDI changes with the Zero Trust team to support related activities.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking a Senior Systems Architect, VDI (Citrix) to join our team supporting the DLA Enterprise IT Architecture (EIA) Support Services task order under JETS 2.0 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia. TekSynap is competing to support the DLA Enterprise IT Architecture Division and Zero Trust PMO within DLA Information Operations (J6/J64) on a JETS 2.0 firm fixed price task order starting December 1, 2026. The task order combines four branches into one team: Directory Services (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Exchange), Enterprise Infrastructure Application Support (Citrix VDI), Enterprise Software and Mobility (MDM), and Zero Trust Architecture support. Work spans NIPRNet, SIPRNet and cloud environments at DLA sites nationwide. This position is designated Key Personnel. The candidate selected for the proposal provides a resume and current certifications, signs a Letter of Commitment with TekSynap, and must be available to start December 1, 2026 if TekSynap wins.

Required Qualifications

Experience:

This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
• Willing to sign a Letter of Commitment for the proposal and available to start December 1, 2026
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

• Direct Tier 3 VDI troubleshooting and weekly trend reviews with Enterprise Service Desk leads
• Plan VDI capacity and integration with Azure and future cloud options
• Lead the Task 2 team of Citrix/VDI administrators, systems engineers and senior systems administrators
• Manage VDI project schedules, risks and status reporting to the Government
• Maintain STIG compliance, RMF documentation and architecture diagrams for the VDI environment
• Coordinate VDI changes with the Zero Trust team so each change supports the related Zero Trust activity

• Experience with Citrix DaaS on Azure

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $150,000 - $200,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees
