Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Systems Architect on MeshMesh to shape the technical foundation and long-term architecture of our mesh networking platform, collaborating with engineering leaders to ensure the system scales with customer demand.

In this role you will define and document the overall system architecture, evaluate trade-offs, guide major design decisions, and partner with multiple engineering teams to maintain architectural consistency while addressing scalability, performance, and

Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in systems architecture.
Experience architecting distributed systems at scale.
Ability to explain complex trade-offs to varied audiences.
Experience guiding architecture across multiple engineering teams.
Experience leveraging Claude and modern AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

Define and document the overall system architecture across services and components.
Evaluate technical trade-offs and guide major design decisions.
Partner with engineering leads to ensure architectural consistency as the platform grows.
Identify scalability, performance, and reliability risks early and design solutions to address them.
