Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Systems Architect on MeshMesh to shape the technical foundation and long-term architecture of our mesh networking platform. You will collaborate with engineering leaders to ensure the system scales with customer demand.

You should have extensive experience in distributed systems, strong communication of trade-offs, and a track record of guiding architecture across teams, including leveraging Claude and modern AI tools to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in software architecture or systems engineering.
• Experience architecting distributed systems at scale.
• Ability to communicate complex trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience guiding architecture across multiple engineering teams.
• Experience designing systems/workflows that leverage Claude and AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and document the overall system architecture across services and components.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs and guide major design decisions.
• Partner with engineering leads to ensure architectural consistency as the platform grows.
• Identify scalability, performance, and reliability risks early and design solutions to address them.
