Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior Technical Specialist - HW/SW integration to lead SDV 2.0 Aggregator development for Ultifi. You will interface between Aggregator hardware design and GM software teams, guiding software content from design through release and coordinating with suppliers to meet program milestones.

You will apply microprocessor-based control knowledge, RTOS familiarity, and robust problem-solving to ensure successful integration of hardware and software across vehicle platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with automotive microcontroller-based controls.
• Foundational software/hardware co-design and V&V knowledge.
• Strong communication and program management skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as system architect interface between hardware design and GM software teams.
• Lead software content development aligned with program milestones.
• Coordinate DFMEA/DFSS activities and software verification.
• Drive software release through Engineering Change Requests.
• Support hardware/software integration across labs, suppliers, and vehicles.
