Job summary

Sabel Systems is seeking a senior systems engineering leader to develop and maintain the AF-PLM enterprise architecture, aligning with DoD and Air Force priorities. You will drive digital thread capabilities, establish authoritative data sources, and ensure lifecycle data management across Air Force platforms.

You will guide integration strategies, translate acquisition needs into PLM capabilities, and collaborate with SAF-AQ, AFLCMC, and industry partners to advance scalable, interoperable PLM

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, CS, AE, or related field, or a bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• 10+ years USAF or USAF-related systems engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and MBSE.
• Experience enabling digital thread and data governance across programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the AF-PLM enterprise architecture.
• Drive Air Force level PLM strategy for digital thread and ASOT.
• Translate operational needs into PLM capabilities for readiness and modernization.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, acquisition and sustainment teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies like AI/ML and digital twin for PLM.
