Job summary

Jabil seeks a System Lead / Product Architecture Owner to own architectural coherence across CDU, HVAC, chiller cooling, and power platforms. The role focuses on scalable, configurable product structures and architectural governance rather than people management.

You will set design standards, drive variant strategies, and guide cross-functional teams to translate architecture into release configurations and engineering deliverables, minimizing lifecycle churn.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience designing and architecting complex electromechanical systems.
• Demonstrated experience owning system architecture within multi-variant product environments.
• Deep understanding of modular design, product platforms, configuration logic, and lifecycle scalability.
• Strong understanding of CAD architectures, configuration management, and PLM-driven product development.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ability to operate independently as a senior technical authority across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own the overall system architecture across cooling and power product platforms and ensure coherence between mechanical, electrical, controls, and configuration structures.
• Define and maintain modular design strategies enabling reuse, scalability, maintainability, and change isolation across product families.
• Architect system and model structures anticipating future growth, regional requirements, and evolving customer needs.
• Establish architectural frameworks to reduce lifecycle complexity and minimize design churn.
• Serve as the primary technical authority during system-level and cross-functional design reviews.
• Work with ME CAD, EE CAD, controls, manufacturing, quality, service, and PLM/configuration teams to ensure architectural intent is implemented.
