Job summary

WiSC Enterprises seeks an experienced Systems Architect to design, integrate, and modernize enterprise and mission-critical systems for DoD, IC, and Federal partners. You will lead technical leadership across cloud, cybersecurity, MBSE, and mission technologies.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure solutions, ensure compliance, and support digital engineering, DevSecOps, and risk-oriented trade studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as systems engineering, CS, or cybersecurity.
• 10+ years in systems architecture within DoD, IC, or Federal environments.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud modernization and cybersecurity integration.
• Familiarity with RMF, NIST standards, and secure systems engineering.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of enterprise and mission systems architectures.
• Develop architecture frameworks, roadmaps, interfaces, and integration strategies.
• Support full systems lifecycle engineering including requirements, design, testing, deployment, sustainment.
• Architect solutions across cloud platforms, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and mission apps.
• Conduct trade studies, risk analyses, and technology assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Support digital engineering, Agile, DevSecOps, MBSE initiatives.
• Ensure interoperability, security, and compliance across environments.
• Assist cloud migration and zero trust implementation.
• Develop architecture documentation and executive briefings.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to improve mission resilience.
• Support proposal development and capture activities.
