Description of Task to be Performed:

AnaVation is actively seeking individuals to fill a key role within our team. The SOE III will be responsible for the architecture of the server environment, as well as planning for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of several hundred servers used in a 24/7/365 real-time configuration. The SOE III is expected to develop methodologies for evaluating system health using enterprise tools (e.g., Foreman, Ansible, SaltStack). The role involves leading a team of system, SAN, and network engineers to ensure the current operational system remains secure and up-to-date, while also planning for new data centers as needed. The SOE III will also focus on automating tasks such as checking server health, available disk space, and ensuring critical processes are running, utilizing monitoring tools and scripting languages.

This position is on-site in Huntsville, AL, and requires a Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a CI clearance with a polygraph.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and scripting, with familiarity across various operating systems. Relevant languages include, but are not limited to:

The SOE III should have mastery of Linux operating systems, understand enterprise software resources, and know how to leverage them to accomplish the mission.

Education: A minimum of a four-year college degree in electrical or computer engineering plus four years of systems engineering experience, or seven years of relevant systems engineering experience in lieu of a degree. All experience must meet or exceed the responsibilities outlined above.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS, especially deploying services on AWS.
• Experience with digital forensics technology for law enforcement or intelligence community clients.
• Experience with Netbox, LibreNMS, Ansible, Jinja2.
