Senior Systems Analyst - Credit Decisioning

This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence how BECU serves its members through smarter, faster, and more secure lending solutions. You will configure and optimize automated underwriting and loan origination systems, shape risk strategies, and implement scoring models and alternative data.

**Responsibilities include:**

  1. Configuring and optimizing credit systems for seamless lending operations.
  2. Driving credit origination strategies aligned with risk goals.
  3. Collaborating with stakeholders to improve credit risk implementation.
  4. Leading system administration, testing, and performance monitoring.
  5. Transforming business needs into technical requirements and documentation.
  6. Customizing workflows and creating process diagrams.
  7. Bridging business and technical teams to enhance system functionalities.
  8. Supporting team and organizational goals beyond core duties.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 7+ years in lending, credit analytics, or business analytics.
  • Experience with BRMS platforms or rule engines.

**Preferred:**

  • Advanced degree, experience with FICO decision management, and experience configuring decision engines or scoring models.

This is a full-time, mid-senior level role primarily remote, with candidates ideally residing in WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, SC, or GA. For WA residents near Tukwila, onsite presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is encouraged.
