Job summary

A leading technology company in Pasadena is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage user support, infrastructure, and security compliance. The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in IT Support, strong skills in Windows/Office 365, and familiarity with VMware and backup systems. This full-time role offers competitive compensation between $80k and $90k DOE and includes comprehensive employee benefits. This is an onsite position, and remote candidates will not be considered.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in IT Support or Systems Admin role.
• Proven ability to set up and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 admin.
• Experience with VMware/Hyper-V for provisioning VMs.
• Backup concepts and familiarity with a common backup platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 help desk support for local and remote users.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and manage user groups in Active Directory.
• Monitor and execute backup jobs; manage disaster recovery documentation.
• Implement and monitor security baselines and respond to alerts.
