Job summary

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Systems Administrator to support a federal contract in Maryland. U.S.

citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required. The candidate should have 8–14 years of direct/relevant experience, a technical Bachelor's degree, and proficiency with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory. The role involves software/hardware deployment, patching, backups, and working with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds,

Qualifications

Must hold US citizenship and TS/SCI with polygraph.
8–14 years direct/relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
Must have experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.).
Must be proficient with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
Must have experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, operating systems, and basic system backup and restore functions.
Must have experience with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus.
Must have experience with and/or have knowledge of Red Hat and VMWare.
Must have a solid understanding of advanced security protocols and standards.
Must have experience with both Client and Server virtualization environments.
Must have experience with installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and reimaging hardware.
Must have a solid understanding of information security principles and practices.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to support occasional day or short duration travel.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Proficiency with SQL Server.
SALT and Python scripting experience.
Experience supporting a software configuration management and development environment.
Experience working in an Agile Development Environment or on an Agile Team.
Knowledge of PKI systems which use HSMs to validate key and NTP for synchronization.
Knowledge of PowerShell and PowerCLI.
Experience in documenting and providing information for security accreditation and certification.

Responsibilities

Provide direct support to end users and technical staff (developers, testers, engineers, etc.).
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and reimage hardware.
Maintain and support virtualization environments (Client and Server).
Assist in security accreditation and certification documentation.
