Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Systems Administrator to support JWICS on a DISA contract. This onsite role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and is based five days a week in Fort Meade, MD.

You will lead VDI initiatives, provide senior level expertise, and collaborate with Tier III support and development partners to align technology with mission needs.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with Windows, Linux and Solaris server environments.
• Extensive VMware/VDI experience and knowledge of virtualization.
• DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level expertise for VDI environments and lead as SME.
• Support major outages and assist with escalation and remediation.
• Collaborate with development partners on emerging needs and tech advances.
• Lead onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments.
• Develop and monitor policies for computing resources; document SOPs.

TDI is seeking a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Systems Administratorto support a DISA contract. The administrator will provide support for assigned systems supporting Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS).

This position is onsite 5 days/week in Fort Meade, MD and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide Senior level expertise for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment.
• Lead as the Subject Matter Expert on all VDI related issues/needs.
• Provide support for ticket escalation on major outages.
• Provide strategic leadership and input with development partners to ensure customers understand emerging needs and technological advancements.
• Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and environments as needed.
• Interactwith Tier III support and evaluatevendor products.
• Developand monitorpolicies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Create, maintain, and implementdetailed documentation and maintainstandard operating procedures.
• Providecoaching and reviewthe work of lower-level technical staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Top Secret/SCI is required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or 8+ years of overall related experience with a Windows/Linux server environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Windows, Linux, and Solaris Server experience withexpertise in at least one.
• Extensive experience working with virtual environments using VMware and VDI practices.
• Currently possess DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II, e.g. Security+ CE.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Integration of cyber security tools and systems with network performance, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems.
• Thorough knowledge of networking principles to included TCP/IP.
• Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow

PAY RANGE:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $115,000. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
