Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Four to six years system administration experience.
• Familiarity with the listed technologies is desirable; proficiency in one or more areas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily system monitoring and verify integrity and availability of hardware, servers, networks, and key processes.
• Perform regular security monitoring to detect intrusions and ensure compliance.
• Execute daily backups and verify media integrity and off-site replication.
• Create, modify, and delete user accounts; provide end-user support as needed.
• Troubleshoot hardware, network, or software failures and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades; maintain system procedures and capacity planning reports.
