Job summary

MetaMask is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to own the technical backbone across cloud and SaaS environments for a global, remote-first team. You will drive reliability, security, and operational maturity with significant autonomy.

Responsibilities include incident leadership, onboarding/offboarding, and large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and identity management is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience administering enterprise SaaS platforms and MDM.
• Solid understanding of networking, identity management, and access control.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound technical decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ticket management and remote support.
• Hardware and software support.
• Networking.
• Videoconferencing (both digital and physical).
• Onboarding and offboarding tasks for new hires and departing employees.
• Procuring and shipping equipment to remote employees across the EU.
• General technical assistance.
• Execution of large-scale technical projects and company-wide technology initiatives.
• Work as part of the team responsible for the administration, performance, and reliability of cloud infrastructure across multiple environments, including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom and Atlassian.
• Manage and evolve hybrid systems, ensuring seamless integration with cloud workloads.
• Administer and optimise the SaaS and MDM tooling stack that supports a globally distributed workforce.
• Lead incident response for critical systems, including root cause analysis and post-incident review.
• Build and maintain automation to reduce manual overhead and improve system observability.
• Define and enforce security and access control policies across platforms.
• Partner with the Security teams to support compliance requirements.
• Contribute to technical documentation and runbooks that raise team-wide operational standards.
