Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator in Richmond, VA to ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation of enterprise systems and applications on-site as part of a proposal effort.

The role requires advanced Windows Server administration, AD, security hardening, PKI, and leadership of other admins across multiple locations, with DoD compliance and active clearance.

Qualifications

• Ten years of specialized information processing experience across hardware and software domains.
• At least four years of hands-on enterprise software and systems support experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Relevant certification from a recognized authority.
• Tier 5 investigation and Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 baseline IAT II or IAT III certification.
• DLA-approved computing-environment qualifications for Server Admin M and Domain Admin Z.

Responsibilities

• Windows Server engineering and administration, AD, server builds, patching, and security hardening.
• Plan, install, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise servers, networks, apps, and links.
• Direct and sustain information-management systems operations across locations.
• Provide local and remote maintenance for systems deployed at multiple sites.
• Analyze end-user issues and performance; propose fixes and improvements.
• Perform capacity, availability, and performance analyses and recommendations.
• Automate routine admin tasks with approved tools and scripts.
• Maintain admin procedures, runbooks, and training materials.
• Lead other system admins and coordinate priorities across systems.
