Belay Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our intel team in Maryland. You will own and optimize a high-performance IT environment, collaborating with users and distributed support teams to improve workflows and deploy repeatable processes.

Responsibilities include hardware installation, configuration management with Ansible, virtualization support, and maintaining clear technical documentation. TS/SCI clearance is preferred, with extensive Linux and VMware experience.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain high-performance hardware.
• Work installation and sustainment for datacenter hardware.
• Configuration management using Ansible.
• Document procedures and deployment playbooks for repeatability and scale.
• Identify gaps in onsite support and propose improvements.
• Maintain technical docs, diagrams, and SOPs for handovers.
• Support virtualization and IT modernization strategies.
• Collaborate with customers and distributed support teams, adapting to evolving requirements.
