TechFlow Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to support a critical DoD program, administering and optimizing the enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure secure, available systems.

Hybrid remote work requires in‑person meetings in the Northern VA/DC Metro area. The role emphasizes routine administration, incident response, and documentation, with collaboration across cyber, engineering, and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration.
• Experience conducting routine system administration activities and maintaining detailed system administration logs.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure supporting high‑volume, high‑availability environments.
• Strong ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across servers, operating systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience with system monitoring, patch management, backup solutions, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise servers, OS, virtual environments, and infrastructure.
• Perform routine system administration tasks including user management, monitoring, patching, backups, and performance tuning.
• Maintain operation logs and configuration records.
• Monitor system health and implement actions to maximize availability.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, OS, network, and application issues in high‑availability environments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to apply security patches and maintain government compliance.
• Assist with upgrades, deployments, and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
• Participate in after‑hours maintenance and on‑call support.
