Qualifications

• BA/BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Linux system administration (RHEL/Ubuntu) and UNIX in classified environments.
• Windows Server administration experience is a plus.
• Hands-on Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing both virtual and physical servers, monitoring, backups, and performance optimization.
• Active DoD 8570 certification (Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or equivalent).

Job description

• Install, configure, document, maintain, and support server environments hosting mission‑critical applications and infrastructure services.
• Perform Operations and Maintenance tasks.
• Maintain operational baselines.
• Support database administrators.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or Masters degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in system administration, specifically with Linux, including RHEL and Ubuntu, and UNIX in classified environments.
• Some Windows server administration experience would be good to have.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing both virtual and physical servers.
• Experience performing system monitoring.
• Experience with backup management.
• Experience implementing performance optimizations.
• Currently valid DoD 8570 certification such as Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar security certification.
